Just Another Very Pai Mia Story~~~

So the Pai Mia story continue...
With only one service instance remain...
My live was really really a miserable one... T_T...
Not just that every each of my teammates need to take turn to use the server...
The performance had been drop tremendously due to breach of server memory...
My file which previously only required maximum 2 hours to be loaded completely was not taken up to 6 hours... T_T...
I really want to cry now lar... T_T... T_T... T_T...

So the Pai Mia story continue...
As I need to do OT at home again tonight...
And for the weekend also in order to be able to catch up the schedule...
T_T... My precious weekend... T_T...

The pai mia story started when one of our service instance at our UAT server got burst due to insufficient memory...
So now all of us need to take turn in using the only one left that was still working...
And I had been waiting and waiting and waiting in the office...
And finally it was my turn to do my work now at 9pm... T_T...

I wonder how fast boss can get us another server...
But I don't think it will be anytime soon as tons and tons of approval was required...
Perhaps I will be very pai mia for some time started from today... T_T...

No time to write long long...
Got to go back to work liao... T_T...

Just Another Time I Was Not Happy When Someone Give Me A Big Sum Of Money~~~

So question of the day...
In what circumstances you will fell very unhappy when some one give you a big sum of money???
If you are those kind of creature which are such a money face until even an exponent figure can't satisfy you...
Then you may skip this post...
If you are not... Then here let me give you a reason...
Below was what my manager told me when he gave me the official letter regarding my promotion and bonus...

I'm going to be frank with you...
This time I have to give you a very high performance rate because I had made a mistake when you're joining...
You are suppose to be in a higher ranking but some how I had give you one grade lower...
In order to correct this back... I have to promote you...
For you performance last year... You just manage to meet all the basic requirements...
I have to say that not sparkling enough... Good but not good enough...
So even with this high performance rating that I gave you...
I would say you're in the bottom line of it...
Those newcomers were really perform very well last year...
Some how you're getting the promotion rather than them because I need to correct your job grade first...
But I understand that you're coming from a very technical background...
As our team was managing vendor base product so you might not get a lot of job that let you perform...
Still I hope that you can give it a try on more managing work for the next year...
Or perhaps you think that it was really not your bowl of rice...
Or if you see other opportunity in other team... You might let me know...
And finally... Congratulation on your promotion...

How hurt was that to hear such things when your manager promote you... T_T...
And how sad it was when I thought about what my manager said to me...
I was kind of agree with him... I was really not a performer last year...
How much you can perform if you're assigned job like conduct conference call anyway...
Perhaps I should be more aggressive in volunteering myself in doing technical job...
Rather than waiting to be assigned with all those stupid task...

Anyway... The bonus that I received for last year was really a big one...
The sum was even more than the sum that I have in my current saving account now... T_T...
I think I was kind of use to the my previous company stingy working environment where you won't get even get a cent of bonus after working for 4 year...
So I was kind of don't know what to do with the so much money which was given in a sudden...
Perhaps I should spend a few to get myself some birthday gift... Even it was one month late... ^^...
Then throw the rest of the money into refinancing my house loan...

How about belanja the HEAF???
Nah... They left me alone at home yesterday... Sam Tham Lar...
They all went for movie but never even bother of invite me... Sam Tham Lar...
Left me alone at home eating my maggie mee alone... Sam Tham Lar...
When I complain why didn't invite me they totally ignore me... Really really Sam Tham Lar...

Just Another Irritating Lunch Experience~~~

There always be one day in the month...
Most likely will be at someday at the end of the month...
Where our whole team will went to PJ State for lunch...
And then each of us will go to our own bank respectively...
To settle our own never ending debt with the blood sucking bank respectively...
Credit Card... Car loan... House loan... Tai Yee Long...
Which I will call that day as our pilgrimage of the month...
Since our salary was just banked in yesterday...
So today was the pilgrimage day...
And this was what happen during lunch time in a famous coffee shop at PJ State while I was waiting for my food...

Just Another Birthday Dinner~~~

Before I get too lazy to write anything...
I better blog this down first... ^^...

Finally... My birthday dinner with the HEAF which was almost one month late...
But it was not really a big issue to me...
The dinner was held in Shabu Shabu steamboat restaurant at Puchong...
This is the first time I ever saw such a steamboat buffet restaurant...
Which the ingredients was put on conveyor belt like those in a Japanese sushi restaurant...
The dinner was fun indeed though the food especially the seafood was not really fresh...
Anyway a nice dinner is depending on who you are having with rather than what you are eating...
So I really enjoy my dinner and thanks all for coming to the dinner...

Just Another Post That I Just Simply Write Something~~~

Very tired.. Very full... And very sleepy...
Because I went to gym today after such a long break...
And I took a very late dinner... T_T...
So a little lazy to write something very serious...
So I just simply put anything that come into my mind...
Anyway... After such a long break with no gym at all...
I skip the week before Chinese New Year due to sick...
Then I skip the week of Chinese New Year because I was in my hometown...
Then I skip the week after Chinese New Year because going back for Pai Tee Gong...
Then for this week I skip the last two gym session due to work late...
So after skip almost a month of gym...
Today body bump class was really killing me... T_T...
So lesson learn... Don't skip to much of gym... T_T...

By the way... Recently the newpaper was getting more and more boring already...
When you turn to local news it's always Barisan National...
When you turn to world news it's always American Election...
When you turn to entertainment it's always Edison...
Boring lar...

Just Another Day I Got No Mood For Work~~~

Today was a day which I got totally no mood to work at all...

Perhaps it was the depression on work after long new year holiday...
Perhaps it was the performance review meeting with TheEmperor yesterday...
Perhaps it was the stupid dream that I made last night...
Perhaps it was the company Chinese New Year celebration high tea that I skipped...
Perhaps it was the coffee machine that out of Milo again...
Perhaps it was the death battery of my iPod...
Perhaps it was the new office building that took 279 steps more than the previous building...
Perhaps it was the color of my shirt didn't match the color of my pant today...
Perhaps it was the mandarin orange that taste like apple...
Perhaps it was the answer for the users that they forgot to do my request...
Perhaps it was the new development task was not assigned to me again...
Perhaps it was the photo competition which I didn't win a prize at all...
Perhaps it was the fella that suppose to pay my dinner fly me aeroplane...
Perhaps it was the last minute meeting that caused me could not make it to the gym again...
Perhaps it was the sleepiness due to sleep late last night...

Perhaps... It was just because I always got no mood for work... T_T...

Just Another Trip To Penang~~~

Yes... I went to Penang...
On the next day right after the Pai Tee Kong ceremony... Or last Friday...
And I was going together with Melvin...
So nice to be invited by him since my last year run away drama in Penang...
We went to makan in Gurney drive and Food Loft in Gurney Plaza...
We went shopping in Queensbay Mall...
We went to buy pirated DVD in Batu Ferringhi...
We went to the dam and forest reserve and national park and some beaches in Telok Bahang...
We went to have a walk in Gurney drive during midnight...
And also we went to watch the movie Jumper...

The two days trip was really a rush and tiring one...
So sorry to Melvin that he had to do all the driving as most of the time I just felt asleep in the car...
But still I had an enjoyable time in Penang and I hope he too having a great time like me...
Hopefully he didn't regret of inviting me as I was such a bad companion for trip... T_T...

Just Another Gong Xi Fa Cai Post~~~

Finally I'm back from Taiping for the second times...
Even it was not the Chap Gor Meh yet but the Chinese New Year for 2008 is officially ended to me...
So for the last 4 days... I was quite busy actually...
And also luckily no one hack my blog... Wuahaha... ^^...
Anyway... That's what I was busy about...

First... Prepare all the kuih...




Then decorate all the fruits...
That's the best time to show your creativity~~~




Then put all the kuih and fruits on the table with sugar cane tied on each side of the table...




Then place all the Tee Kong Kim in front of your house and let it burn...




It was just about half an hour ceremony but there were quite a lot of things to prepare...
The Tee Kong Kim alone already take up my whole day to prepare...
The lotus shape Tee Kong Kim seems very simple... But it actually made up from 10 pieces of big size Tee Kong Kim...
So really can fold these thing until get crazy one...
And the number 2 handsome of my family... My 1 year old nephew was admitted to the hospital due to denggi...
Both my sisters need to stay in the hospital just to take care of him...
So left me alone helping my mom to prepare all the stuff for the ceremony...

When I was still a kid... Pai Tee Kong was the most important day during Chinese New Year...
Which the best new year shirt should only be worn during this day...
And we need to keep the best fire cracker for this day too...
But now it was simple just a ceremony that you may wish for iPhone or iPod Touch or Swatch watch or Adidas running shoes to the Tee Kong but still you need to work very hard in order to get enough money to buy them...
So I just wish for health and peace for my family...
Hopefully the Tee Kong really exists lar... ^^...

In few more minutes I shall be on the road back to Taiping again...
Some might say I really kulit gatal to go back hometown again after three days back from there...
But family is very important one... And I love them so I must go back you know... Wuahaha...

Just Another Long Long Post About Gong Xi Fa Cai~~~

Finally~~~ I was back to PJ...
After 9 days of paradise in Taiping...
Even though I had no internet but tons of housework and two very kanasai and naughty nephews in my hometown...
Still it was a paradise to me...
And after 9 days without updating my blog...
This should be a long one because this is going to be 9 in 1 post... ^^...

First of all... 3th of February... My birthday...
My 29 years old birthday... Shit lar... Almost 30 already... T_T...
Anyway... It was just another day that almost no one remember...
That's the bad thing about having a birthday around Chinese New Year which everyone was busy...
In fact I myself also forgot about it as I was busy helping my mom preparing for the new year...
Until I received an SMS from SampatTheYit... And the only one... T_T...
Anyway... Thanks to my mom for the birthday Ang Pao...
And thanks to my sister for the Ralph Lauren Blue...
And thanks in advance to the HEAF for the coming birthday dinner on someday about two weeks from now...
Perhaps 3th of February 2008 should be a day not to be remembered...
Ironically it was the day that Andrew left Malaysia too...
Still he never called since Christmas and I pretended that I didn't care to call him back too...
It really make me wonder that it was who gave up on who but it was not something really matter right now...
Perhaps I should just announce on my new status on relationship so that to let all the bee and butterfly to fly toward me...
Or perhaps I already lost my confidence in playing such a stupid game...
Anyway... The birthday just passed by in a quite way...
Nothing fancy... Nothing spicy... Nothing bitchy...

And my mom kept nagging me during the dinner on my birthday with something like this...

Then the reunion dinner at Chinese New Year eve...
It was a steam boat dinner as usual...
It seems kind of simple but you never know how much things that we need to do just for this particular dinner...
The preparation started from the early morning which we need to start prepare for the soup which it was required to boil for whole day by using charcoal...
And I need to add charcoal into the fire for every half an hour since then...
My mom always cook in quite a traditional way...
For example the meat balls came from chopping a whole chunk of pork with some prawn and garlic rather then just buy a packet from the supermarket...
That's why we need a whole day to prepare for a steam boat dinner...
And this is the first time ever my mom let me help in the kitchen...
As the traditional mom always have the thought that guys were not belong to the kitchen...
But still with the help from my sister and my brother and myself... We still busy preparing in the kitchen for almost a whole day...
I only manage to get an hour of rest right before the dinner was started... T_T...
So it was really hard to imagine how my mom manage to prepare the dinner all by herself for all these year... T_T...

It was tiring but still it was a very nice dinner...
It really worth it for all these hard work just to have a nice dinner with the family... Don't you think... ^^...

To be honest... After 29 years of same routine... Chinese New Year no longer exciting for me...
Always steam boat for reunion dinner...
My parent Ang Pao always RM 88...
First day of new year always stay at home...
Second day of new year always go to Batu Kurau to visit relatives...
Third day of new year always go to Pantai Remis to visit more relatives...
Everything was so predictable...
The only thing that I was looking forward perhaps was the food and the Ang Pow...
My mom came from a big family with 14 brothers and sisters...
So you can imagine how many Ang Pow that I had collected from all my uncle and aunty and cousins... ^^...
Still the money collected just enough for me to pay for the patrol and toll for two round trip from KL to Taiping... T_T...
Talking about highway... Yesterday trip back from Taiping was totally a nightmare...
I was stuck in the traffic jam from the moment I got out from Taiping toll all the way until Slim River...
It took me more than 5 hours just to travel from Taiping to PJ...
Shit lar... Curse Sammy Vallu...

While for the food... I didn't really eat much this year...
Haven't eat any Kuih Kapit yet...
Haven't eat any Bah Kuah yet...
Haven't even eat any Mandarin Orange yet... How sad...
The weather was just too hot during Chinese New Year...
And I totally got no mood to put anything into my mouth except cool 100 Plus or 7Up Revive or Excel...
Anyway... I will be going back hometown again this Wednesday night for the Pai Tee Kong ceremony...
Perhaps I should eat more by then... ^^...
