Just Another Langkawi Trip ~ Day 3~~~

As the lesson learned the last morning that the breakfast of this hotel was suck...
And perhaps we were a little tired too during to the hot trip yesterday...
We woke up only at 8:30 am...
The breakfast remain as un-entertaining as previous day because the menu was exactly the same...
The only thing that changed was the fried mee was replace by fried kuey teow...
It made me wonder again how this hotel managed to get their 4 stars title... T_T...
Anyway... It was day 3... The last day that we will had a whole full day in Langkawi...
And basically we still didn't really touch the sea water yet...
So it would be a good choice to go for island hopping...
And another lesson learned last day... We applied a inch thick of sun block before we went out for the island hopping trip...

Island hopping... RM 50 for 3 islands...
But technically we had just went to two islands...
As to me we were more than just passing by the first island rather than hop to the island...
Just stay in the speed boat and watching a whole bunch of eagles flying all over the island...
I can't deny that seeing a whole bunch of eagles catching those baits prepared by the boatman was kind of exciting...
But when think about it again... It was kind of sad that I wonder how much natural side was still remain in those eagles...
Especially when you can see how those eagles following the speed boat waiting to be fed...
And how well train was them to stay on a particular spot where the bait will be thrown...
As if their only purpose of existence was to entertain the tourist...
Yah.. Yah... I know... I'm one of the tourist too...

By the jetty of island hopping~~~


Pulau Dayang Bunting... The second island of the island hopping trip...
Perhaps that the most beautiful island among the three...
It has a beautiful lake located right in the middle of the island...
Which according to the legend if a girl was taking bath with the water of the lake... She shall get pregnant...
How the lake going to do such miracle that I was not sure...
Perhaps the whole lake was just a huge pool of male semen... Yuke... Disgusting...
Aside of those disgusting thought regarding the pool... The lake was really nice...
Crystal clear water surrounded by green mountain... Such a nice place for swimming...
Anyway... We didn't go for a swim but just soaking our feet in the water...
However for some unknown reason the fishes which suppose to give you a free foot massage just didn't show up...
Perhaps even the fishes can't bear with the crazy heat of Malaysia...

Pulau Bayang Bunting


If I remember correctly the last island was Pulau Beras Basah... An island with a nice beach...
The weather still remain as hot as hell but I didn't care much about it anymore and jump into the sea...
And after a hard persuasion then only I managed to get Fong down into the sea...
However only for about 15 minutes I think as he claimed that the sea water was making his skin itch...
Yupe... That's our macho man with phobia with bacteria and germ... T_T...
Anyway... It was always nice to soak yourself into the sea no matter how hot the weather was...
But just too bad that the wave was not strong and excited enough...
And we witness a couple of monkey attack incidents on that beach...
Which the monkeys were attacking tourist especially those with plastic bags or holding small object...
Again it was just another sad example of how the interference of human changes the nature of the wild animal...
And I just can't help myself thinking about novel The Swarm that I was still fighting hard to finish the book...
Perhaps someday those eagles and monkeys and crabs will team up together to eliminate the tourist and resident of Langkawi Island... T_T...

Pulau Beras Basah~~~


Since it was already quite late and everyone was just tired and lazy to really search for nice food...
We simply settle our lunch a coffee shop at Kuah town...
And that was the most economic meal ever in my entire Langkawi trip...
RM 5 for a claypot Yee Mee with egg and cold soya bean... ^^...
And the rest of the day was just simply shop shop and shop...
Talking about shopping... Suddenly everyone seems to be fully charged and energetic again... T_T...
Anyway... I managed to get myself an ODM watch in Eagle Square...
It was surprise to find an ODM watch here in Langkawi...
For a second I did doubt about the actual origin of the watch...
It was really a heartbreak thing to know that you're spending hundreds of dollar just to get a pirated product you know...
After double check on the watch and the watch birth certificate and since they had 20% promotion now... Finally I decided to buy it...
Thought it looks a bit to fancy for an old man like me...
But some how I just like it... ^^...

We had our dinner at Coco Beach restaurant...
A wellknown restaurant with it's nice sunset view by the beach...
And also famous with it's unreasonable price too...
Yes it was true that the sunset view was really nice...
But somehow paying RM 90.90 for a dinner just for the view for me it was just super unworthy...
The service was bad... The food suck... And our neighbor was so noisy over the dining table...
And they let their kids running around the restaurant and disturbing others in the restaurant... So kanasai...
And the worst thing was it started to rain during our meal...
But luckily we were about to finish our meal... Their potion was too small for us to take a long dinner anyway...
To be honest I was kind of glad with the rain as it came just in time to get us out of that damn place...
Yet... Another strange figure that we got on your bill... I was cursed in Langkawi perhaps... T_T...
The rain stop right after we drove out of the restaurant...
So we stopped at the car park by the road side just about 100 meters away from the restaurant...
From there we were getting the same nice sun set by the beach view...
And you can just stay there for as long as you wish...
And most importantly... It was free~~~
So for those people who wanna to go to dine in that damn Coco Beach restaurant just for the sun set view...
I would suggest you perhaps go the Kuah and get yourself a McDonald value meal set...
And stop by the car park by the on the road towards Cenang beach...
Thrust me... You shall have a better and more enjoyable meal by doing so...

So after another round of shopping again at Cenang beach... And I managed to get myself a sleeveless shirt and a pant for just RM 23... ^^...
We went back to the hotel and started our drinking session... ^^...
And since I already tried the snake sake the day before... This time we got ourselves another fear factor test subject... The whisky with worm... T_T...
To be honest I can't really remember how the worm whisky taste like...
You know lar... After few round of beer and wine and whisky... You can't really differentiate between a cup of plain water and a cup of coffee...
As usual... LT will be the first one to go...
Of course lar... That stupid girl always like to drink wine in one shot...
Then followed by Fong and as always he will denied that he was drunk...
Perhaps I should took a video on how he tripped or how he spilled the wine...
KP still the steel women who will never have any sign of falling no matter how much she drank...
While for me... I didn't drink a lot this time...
As most of the time I just filled my cup with 100 plus...
And they were too drunk to realize that... ^^...
